Overspeed & Edge Sessions (Day 1)

The purpose of overspeed & edge sessions is to push players outside their comfort zone with edge work & edge control, change of direction skating skills (stop/starts, pivots), quickness and lateral movement skills both with and without the puck. The game of hockey is all about change of direction, lateral movement, strength and efficiency of players on their skates..

Skills Sessions (Day 2)

The purpose of skill sessions is to help build confidence in our players abilities, so they are comfortable in game situations. The best way to acquire skills like good skating technique, strong puck skills, passing, and shooting is through repetition and training.

Small Area Games Sessions (Day 3)

Small Area Games (SAGs) are high-intensity, game-like drills played in a confined space—often one zone or less of the ice. These fast-paced games are designed to simulate real in-game situations while maximizing puck touches, decision-making, and player engagement.
